i got a problem

his server requires the rich.net anticheat modulate. please see http://antiche.at. for more details

Then download anticheat and unzip to your Quake 2 directory??  huh Get rid of your cheats first. Like modifed models and textures etc. ;P

Make sure you are using AprQ2, EGL or R1Q2 when you play. The anticheat.dll will not work with standard quake2.exe.

Maybe antivirus software nod32 is blocking it.. Try to add antivirus.dll in nod32 exception list.

Yes, if you have any antivirus or other security software make sure anticheat.dll is on the allowed / exceptions list.
