Reconnect feature

I am having a problem. I have set in the q2admin.txt, the reconnect feature to ip 67.181.202.153:27910 and it seems to work great for connecting clients from the outside world IE: the internet. However when I connect and it drops me and attempts to reconnect me I get, reconnecting to 67.181.202.153. I can't connect to that addy since I am on the lan side. I have to connect to 192.168.1.101, but the reconnect in set to connect to the 67.181.202.153 IP So I am unable to reconnect.

I have set the lanip in the q2admin to the lan ip and this does not correct the problem. I also added a second  reconnct_address set to the lan ip IE:

reconnect_address 67.181.202.153:27910
reconnect_address 192.168.1.101:27910

and I can reconnect after being dropped. However not sure if it prevents people from reconnecting to the 67... ip addy.

not sure if the 2nd reconnect_address overrides the 1st and thus reconnect everyone to the lan which will prevent the outside from connecting.

Is there a betterway of doing this or can someone help me to solve this problem. Thanks

   Not sure what you are trying sounds like maybe a setting for you router or hub or what ever needs to be done. You should be able to connect with same IP as server if that is your IP too, but like I said not sure what you are trying to do.

   As far as q2admin is you can only reconnect to one IP address.
is this the one you added lanip to in q2admin?

Also maybe your firewall blocking you too check that out too.

You could/should use the reconnect feature in R1Q2 as it's much faster and doesn't interfere with internal IPs.
