As topic says, the crosshair and hud goes all blury if I enable multisampling, but these should be untouched by FSAA imo.

I think this is beyond the control of R1GL, multi-sampling is for the entire OpenGL Viewport. Unless you are using some weird AA setting like 2x3, keeping it multiples of 2 should not cause any blurring of text / graphics.
