R1Q2 on widescreen video.

Problem: I used to use 16:10 monitor with 1440x900 resolution and everything was fine. No I have screen thats native resolution is 1366x768 (16:9), same computer, but I q2 isn't stretched anymore,  I get 800x600 rectangle and the rest is just black. If I use vid_force...... to native resolution everything is too small.
Is there a way to stretch q2 to fill whole screen. Like it was before.

And yes, i tried to read, used search, but couldnt find any solution on this forum. I doubt that its only me who is playing q2 on widescreen.

Hm, seems i sorted it out myself, though i dont understand why it OK now
What I did is i set my windows resolution to 800x600, started q2,and it was fine as expected. then I quit q2, restored my windows resolution to normal, started q2 again and it was fine, no border, 800x600 stretched to fill all space even so that my windows resolution is 1366x768.
Maybe this will help someone else. Unless someone will explain what happened properly. not just simple luck.
