Hello, I have noticed that every time I play on an opentdm server my download settings get reset. This is a problem because I don't like to download custom skins. When I join another server (tastyspleen.net DM server), my PC downloads the custom skins.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I am using the R1Q2 engine.

This is forced on by the server (not OpenTDM) on the tourney2 server at tastyspleen to ensure clients download the skins. If you wish for other mods to not use auto downloading, be sure to put your settings in autoexec.cfg in the appropriate mod dir as Q2 does not properly save/load settings between gametypes.

You may also wish to simply use cl_noskins 1 to disable skins if you don't like them.

Thanks for the info. How would I go about making a mod dir for regular deathmatc? What should I name the folder? Thanks.

baseq2 is the default game directory for deathmatch.
