Levels of an user is not workting ( suddenly)

Hi r1ch tought I join the forum.
Now that i'm here i want you to ask this:

If I add an user with some levels like admin.
Then its confirmed by the bot and yet that user doesn't has them...
I wonder who to solve this. I don't want to loose my data.

small exsample below:

also in data\acces  I see he is added : .*!.*duff8701@.*\.midd\.cable\.ntl\.com
ADDFACTS OP DELALLFACTS ADMIN

SO as u can see there is something wrong somewhere. Is there by any chance that u know where maybe the problem lays?

Note:  The only user who I can add is myself ( and i am not "god")

If you read the documentation and or forum you'll notice ADMIN permissions are granted via the $admin config setting and cannot be given via normal user permissions.

Um.....
Well this is my old backup bot.
But before I had an other one. and that one did it like that. ( adduser)
That is why i didnt checked the doc's...
.. i gues this is the wrong/other version then....

Sorry but i forgot to add this:

I lost me "real bot of yours" cuz of a broke HDD.
So I got this one from my backup cd ( witch is a year old).
I made it myself easy and loged in as my old host to add my new host with all the permissions.
( so why can i add myself then as "real "admin ? and not others.... that is kinda odd.

Anyway thanks for yoru help i try to do it as you said... but i still wonder...
