Hi r1ch, I'm breaking things again - this time bitchbot. Running bitchbot under WinXP and when I use "restart??" bitchbot just quits and doesn't restart. Also any way to get eh same bitchbot in to more than one channel or to carry out  commands oupon joining the irc server without altering the code??

Multi channel support may be coming eventually. Also the restart doesn't restart, it just quits. You have to use one of the infinite spawner scripts from the files page to get it to restart.

Ta for the reply, but I also want the bot to send:

/mode $me +x

can I add this just before the SOCKET READ LOOP section and after the connect to server bit? I've tried adding the line:

snd ('/MODE $me +x');

but it doesn't seem to have the desired effect. AmI doing summat wrong.

/ is just for IRC clients to know you want to use a command Smiley. When messaging IRC servers directly there is no /.

Eg (i think),
MODE $me +x
