Freeze on loading.

Everything was working fine until last night. I loaded up r1q2 with anticheat as normal and quake2 froze completely. It just says "Loading anticheat, this make take a few moments...." and freezes from that point. The only thing I can do to stop it is alt-ctrl-del and end process. I'm using XP SP2. Can't figure out why it was working perfectly then all of a sudden this happens. any ideas?

Ok, so I wait the freeze out and discover its not a complete freeze. After 30 seconds or so it loads the map and says, anticheat failed to load, try connecting without anticheat.  I believe the server I was testing anticheat on is no longer connected to anticheat and thats the problem. tastyspleen.net::tourney4|36ms|69.9.168.4:27930

  I think anticheat server is down cause other servers shut it off already. Because of the wait I assume.

My Internet was out for several days, so any anticheat clients would have to wait for a connection timeout (30 secs or so), hence the apparent freezing.
